    Gail Ellerton and her late husband Ron bought this home sight unseen in 2005, while the couple were still living in Calgary. They basically bought a plan, as construction had not yet begun.

    "We chose our home based on the superb location, close to shops and transportation, as well as for its turnkey concept," she remembers. "My husband and I loved to travel at that time, and having the freedom to pick up and leave without worrying about things like lawn maintenance was important to us. We were also attracted to that tiny community feel, and were fortunate to have such quiet and respectful neighbours."

    Being the original owners, the Ellerton's chose to have their spacious kitchen at the front, where the large bay window bathes the house in natural light. Surprisingly, very few townhomes here have that feature, but it was a must for them.
